Virtual Format in the works!

Deadline for Video mp4 files – September 30, 2020

Thank you for your patience and participation in the WSAUA Annual Meeting. At this point in time, we have determined that a live meeting in Maui is no longer logistically possible. We had held out with hope that the emergency would abate and normal travel would resume by now but no such luck.

During a press conference on Aug. 18, Hawaii Governor David Ige announced that the state is delaying the start of the Pre-Travel Testing Program. The program will not begin until October 1, at the earliest. Therefore the likelihood of normal travel to Maui thereafter is now very low and there is no way to know if the situation will improve.

The meeting will now be 100% virtual. Our virtual meeting plans are well underway and an update will be sent very soon with the schedule, registration and other details. The virtual platform will be high quality and feature robust engagement tools, as well speaker support from our tech team. This will ensure a global audience can join us either live or on-demand.
